Down with FB

Wow! In January I swore to write more, It is now May 30 and these are the first words I've written since then. Good reason though. Work, family, friends, life. A good one, better than it's been in a long time. Working on my book, it will be done soon, another good reason. One bad reason: too much time on fb and I'm not on it much..

I'm Baaacccckkk

Late at night, feeling like facebook has dominated my online writing. Technology is a strange and fascinating creature, luring you away to different corners of the digital domain.

Since I am now a fulltime teacher with a classroom of my own, my time seems not to be my own. All in all I'm doing fabulous for a first year teacher, in middle school, in a low income neighborhood. IN fact I love it.

Besides the low pay, the only downside is the week is tricky, it's a hard job to leave at the office. So, just getting son off to school, everyone fed and in clean clothes is achievement enough.

Writing, seems like that might be a summer love.
