Brother Paul and Pee Wee Paul

Organizing the picture files and had to share this cool picture.
My brother Paul and I, went to hear Paul Reubens AKA Pee Wee Herman speak earlier this year at the Palace of Fine Arts.
A great night in many ways. Paul Reubens was amazingly normal, and I don't mean because he wasn't in Pee Wee character. He shared great anecdotes and was quite calm, almost blase about his career. I guess it takes a sane man to act so crazy. I must stop here; I wish I had the time and focus right now to speak deep thoughts about Pee Wee and his influence on my life and pop culture in general. So I'll encapsulate. To me, Pee Wee is the Ramones of TV, he is the Godfather of punk television. I'll elaborate at a later blog. I just wanted to share the great picture and say I had a great time with my best friend/brother Paul. We ended up "having cocktails" with Pee Wee, I mean Paul in SF. I got a great snap of Paul and Paul. This picture is only going to get better and better as time goes on... much like episodes of Pee Wee's playhouse.
I love Pee Wee. So why don't I marry him? I can't, I'm already married to the fruit salad.

Happy New Year Dears!

New Year's Resolutions. Off and running. I cut (and colored for the first time ever) my hair, ate organic fruit for breakfast and worked out for 20 minutes, hard cardio. I'm blogging for the second time this week, my housework and bills are up to date and I called my husband today to tell him I love him.
Let's see how long this lasts. I am determined to get FIT by my forty- */&! -th birthday or else. I am determined to be more healthy, grateful, loving and productive.
I predict that 2008 is going to be a top notch year. Not just for me but for everyone. Afterall, we are going to get a new President. (Can you hear me crying?) And it's year of the Rat, the first sign of Chinese astrology and that is supposed to be good. I'll take it. New beginnings, prosperity, clarity, love, peace, creativity, passion, it's all good. And all is well. For now.
Happy New Year sweeties!
